Social Media Manager, Sneakers

The Content team drives awareness and engagement among users, partners, and the public to drive awareness and elevate the brand. The team includes colleagues who oversee our social media and digital communications channels, video production, editorial email marketing, media relations, events, brand writing, and brand partnerships. This role will work under the supervision of the Director of Social Media to manage all activity on the @stockxsneakers social media platforms, including Instagram, Twitter, and contributing to the StockX Facebook page.

Specifics

• Create and execute against a social media editorial calendar centered around the sneakers vertical.
• Stay up to date on all upcoming sneaker releases and plan social media posts accordingly.
• Coordinate with the art team to get all necessary photo assets to hit publishing deadlines.
• Work with art, video, blog, and email teams to create a cohesive narrative around sneakers from all owned platforms, including social media.
• Community management across all social platforms, including YouTube.
• Pitch new ways to engage with sneakers customers across all social media platforms.
• Assist with pulling and presenting social media analytics on regular cadence.
• Contribute to improving the social media strategy by knowing what’s working vs what’s not working on various social media platforms.
• Collaborate with the social media customer service team to minimize negative sentiment across platforms.

What We’re Looking For

• Must have a strong passion for all things sneakers and social media.
• Previous professional working experience running social media profiles within a like minded space, ie music, art, culture, fashion.
• Proven track record of growing a social media following and steadily increasing engagement.
• Familiarity with social publishing platforms (ie Sprinklr) a plus.
